Born in Italy in 1972.<\/p>\n

After graduating \u00a0from the Italian Institute of Photography, began his travels and accepted initial assignments in Munich, Madrid, Athens and London. His editorial and commercial work has appeared in publications such as Italian Vogue, Mixte, Magazine Colette, D La Repubblica delle Donne, Italian Glamour, Max, A Anna, Vision, Stile, Cross among others shooting advertising campaigns for Renault, MTV Italy, Telecom Italia, Levi’s, Lycia, Collistar, Deborah, D-Exterior, Philippe Matignon, La Rinascente, Parasuco Cult, Vicini Giuseppe Zanotti, Warner Music Italy.
\nHe has directed videos for italian artist Vinicio Capossela, directed the dvd “Nel niente sotto il sole” for Warner Italy, directed videos such “Bardamu”, “Ovunque proteggi”, “Non trattare”, and has shot album covers and press and tour campaigns for \u00a0“Canzoni a manovella” and “Ovunque proteggi”.<\/p>\n

With Kasia Korczak and Payam Sharifi he founded and was Editor in Chief of “Cross Magazine”, which was distributed in more than 40 countries worldwide.

\nIn 2011 \u2018Gomorrah Girl\u2019 book is released.
\n\u2018Gomorrah Girl\u2019 is published by Cross Editions in 500 copies and sold-out as well as special edition, 30 of 500 copies that constitute this first edition, are numbered and signed by the photographer and come with a signed photoprint.<\/p>\n

‘Gomorrah Girl’ second edition, with a quad fold poster designed by Valerio Spada comes in bigger format and in 750 numbered copies and is now available for sale on this website.<\/p>\n

‘Gomorrah Girl’ won the Photography Book Now Award 2011 as best book of the year.<\/p>\n

Listed in the 10 best books of 2011 in Le Monde blog Des livres et des photos.<\/p>\n

Valerio Spada lives and works between New York, Paris and Milan.
