Workshop description
After an introduction to vision of photography, Michael Ackerman will review and edit each participant’s work. The attendants will be tutored in how to develop their approach to an even freer photographic style. One of the challenges will be to improve the personal and unique approach, free from preconceptions and narrowing categories which are so common in contemporary photography.
The workshop will also emphasise on which media of presentation support (book, exhibition, projection, etc.) are better suited to each project. The attendants will also receive an assignment which has to be completed by the end of the workshop.
The core of this experience is the photographer’s own vision and subjectivity. The participants will receive an insight on how to connect with the inner artistic impulse and how to better engage with their own personal projects.
